Toshiba had announced the launch of its satellite series of notebooks last month, and has now gone ahead with its price quotations.

Toshiba Satellite M500 presumably the lightweight series, India price has been quoted has Rs 53,490.Toshiba Satellite M500 has an Intel core 2 duo processor T6500 with 4GB DDR2 RAM having 800MHz memory, 320GB hard disk with 5400 RPM storage and dual-layer DVD-Super Multi optical drive .Toshiba Satellite has a high definition camera which can be used for very good video recordings .Added to these features it also boasts a 5 in 1 Card Reader, three USB 2.0 interfaces and a eSATA/USB combo port that enables the users to charge their mobiles and MP3 players even when the notebook is off.

Toshiba Satellite M500 has a black color chassis with champagne gold patterns. It has a 14-inch LED back light display and has an LCD cover with Toshiba Fusion Finish based on in-Mould Rolling technology with Sonic AERO design. The screen offers full screen display with glass mask while the rims and hinges are made of chrome. It is a true Clear Super View Technology having an aspect ratio of 16:9 and has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and 260 NITs of luminance.
