The craze for Google’s Smartphone operating system Android is heating up. India will soon see a glimpse of Android in many a phones being released by major player like Samsung, HTC, LG and Motorola.

Google the search engine giant is going to make life really easy for its mobile users.Google has come up the concept of voice based search coupled with map aids to any search activity done over the phone.The above pic shows  the feature in an apple i Phone.

Mobile searchers can always get information regarding the top search result that is going to turn up as the first search in the list.Google in empowering this service has also collaborated with many low cost GPRS handset providers.

Google India has said it is definitely interested in a market which is  14 times bigger than the PC market whose penetration is just 30 million.Google foresees a larger a populace of Indians using internet over their phones rather than their PCs in future.Hence Google search engine is aiming at easing its mobile searching capabilities a notch ahead with such a move.

The voice based search has already been incorporated for the new Blackberry users and would soon seen in many other phones from next year onwards.

To make the search more optimized and interesting the search results will be location specific.

If Microsoft has launched big into the search engine market with the release of decision engine Bing, Google has replied strongly by releasing its own operating system Google Chrome Operating System. Both the tech biggies are trying to encroach into each other’s footprints and the war is heating up .Only time will say the devourer and devoured.

After the launch of Google chrome browser  which is being used by over 30 million people now, Google is going for its own chrome operating system which will be more internet compatible .Google terms the present era operating systems to be obsolete since their basis were designed in an age where internet was not thought of.

The main outlines of the Google Chrome Browser are:-

Chrome is an open-source open to further development and add on time to time.

Google Chrome is slated to go full fledged in later half of 2010.

Google term the OS light weight in terms of its coded bits.
Furthermore they are collaborating with other open source communities to make it big.

“Speed, simplicity and security” will form the basic essence of the chrome OS.

There will be minimal user interface in Google Chrome which will directly take the user into the web in few moments. Chrome will take the probability of attacking viruses and other malwares to almost zero.

Chrome will be a treat for application developers who can develop their applications in any web based applications which will be compatible in all well known web browsers like windows or Mac.

Chrome Promises to increase the computing time of the user rather wasting time on configuring hardware, software, booting and undue file management. Google chrome will aid people to stay connected all the while.

Google has also cleared the fact that Google Chrome and Android are different projects though both are cross functional in many aspects .Android is another open source project on Google’s card which will be compatible across many hard ware’s for instance phones, notebooks, etc.

The major challenges that Google has to overpower are
Beating the penetration of windows OS and making niche for itself ,Microsoft XP and Windows7 would give stiff competition with their low cost and compatibility, Google has to build strong co-operations with other hardware providers to keep Google Chrome afloat.
