In the world of television technology, Samsung has pioneered with the introduction of its brand new 8000 series of LED televisions. The new model has a 55-inch structure and is an improvement over the Samsung 6000 and Samsung 7000 series of LED televisions launched earlier by Samsung. The LED technology used in these televisions has a cutting edge over the Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL) as it enables in making slim and smart designs which not only save energy but also render ultra-high contrast ratios.

The three series of LED televisions launched in India by Samsung have proved that there can be no limits set to performance. The new Samsung 55B8000 model vouches to provide ultimate viewing experience in comparison to its other LED counterparts. Samsung’s Wide Color Enhancer Pro and Ultra Clear Panel features display the minutest details in a broad spectrum of colors for all types of viewing conditions. The LED HDTVs provide a remarkable fusion of picture settings that are available with the LCD and plasma displays. This culminates in image clarity and reduction of motion blur. You can also be assured of crisp, easy viewing of sports, video games and movies with the added Auto Motion Plus frame interpolation technology.

Samsung’s LED HDTVs are attractive ultra- slim models just 1.16 inch thick/thin. This, however does not compromise on connectivity features as they have an in-built tuner.
So you can connect a camcorder to view videos or use a media player to play music, or even access multimedia files from a portable drive, using the remarkable USB 2.0 movie feature. The DLNA Wireless feature permits to view PC content without any hassles of wires and cables. If you thought this is all, you need to explore the in-built Content Library Flash that the LED TVs offer. This utility has preloaded content regarding games, cooking, yoga and galleries.

Samsung LED HDTVs offer all these features and also help save energy up to 40% as compared to the traditional LCD HDTVs of similar size. These sets are mercury-free and thus are safer when compared to other available models.

Alongside the 55B8000 model, Samsung has also launched a 32″ model to its 6000 series and another 55″ model to its 7000. While the refresh rate of the 8000 series has a 200Hz, the same stands at 100Hz in the 7000 and 6000 series. So the 8000 series model ensures improved viewing of fast moving images in games and sports.

While the 6000 Series Samsung LED Full High Definition TVs are priced in the range between Rs. 125,000/-(for 40 inch) to Rs. 150,000/-(for 46 inch), the 7000 Series LED TVs are priced in the range between Rs.140, 000/- To Rs 180,000/-. The new 8000 Series LED TV will be available at Rs.350, 000/-.”
