Nokia, the mobile phone giant in India is well geared up to penetrate into the rural markets after the launch of Nokia N97 . Nokia is commercially launching Nokia Life Tools service countrywide with full preparations. Nokia has done a successful pilot run for the Nokia Life Tools in rural areas of Maharashtra (a western state in India).

It would span amongst gamut of services like news, astrology, cricket, jokes and many more and shall be upgraded from time to time. This service will be launched in collaboration with OnMobile.

Nokia will further take these Nokia Life Tools services to various other emerging markets and Africa later.
