Apple in its bid to mop up its music sales has tied up with Sony music  ,EMI ,Warner, Music And Universal Music Group.Apple has planned to counter lower sales levels by launching a special packages along with this big names in music on purchase on purchase of its very famous iTunes package.

Project cocktail would sale lively albums which would look great on real time with its advanced videos, lyrics and Pics. These iTunes album would give the customers some extra dimensions which they would never find in any CDs or DVDs. These applications would also have songs which will also be compatible outside iTunes but supporting iPhone Operating system.

With such a move Apple is cruising high on its digital content distribution agenda. Apple will certainly have a hiked price for its cocktail albums. This would encourage some music enthusiasts to produce some interactive content who design them within the Apple perimeter.

Apple is also planning on the launch of some 10 inch wide tablet which will suit all these features of project cocktail. This tablet device would also have Wi-Fi and camera facilities.

Kingston launched its best ever model the 256 flash drive Data Traveler 300.If the device becomes a successful product it will a huge improvement in both speed of data transfer and storage capacity over the previous flash drives. Kingston has achieved this feat within a window frame of just two months, when it had launched 128 GB USB flash drive.

Nokia N95 The Multimedia Magic

Nokia N95 the famous model from the Nokia N-series had created a fur ore when it was first divulged my Nokia. The features which Nokia N95 has had been sought after by many then and now as well. Nokia N95 posses a 5-megapixel camera which can satiate the user’s need for great illustrious quality photos. The multimedia features provided are highly advanced. The 3G compatible smart phone has Symbian OS loaded on to it. Moreover Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS provided are highly improved by any standards. Nokia N95 has an awesome two-way sliding design which gives its look some extra stars. It provides a decent 8GB memory storage space for storing any stuff.
Nokia N95 measures a comfortable 3.8 inches in length, 2.1 inches in width and 0.8 inches in thickness. It weighs 4.2 ounces making it very comfortable to handle and grip. The smart phone has a sleek finish and soft touch but is still fairly robust. The display is a 2.6-inch QVGA TFT which produces image with a coherence of 16 million colors and has a resolution of 320x240pixels.The screen auto adjusts itself to ambient conditions and makes it easy to view images even in some dark conditions. Though the screen is non touch sensitive some users complain that it bears fingerprint marks at times which needs to be wiped out time and again.
Below the display the phone has switches for navigations with four way toggle and center select , various shortcuts for multimedia menu ,clear key, call talk and end buttons ,edit key (used for text mode selection).When the Nokia N95 is opened sideways the media keys are revealed and phone automatically changes to Landscape mode which increases surface area for video visibility .In the same way when the phone  is slide upwards the alphanumeric keypads can be accessed .On the left hand side of the phone there is a slot for 3.5mm headset jack for your ear buds coupled along with a microSD expansion slot and an infrared port. In the same way on the contrary side has a volume rocker, camera activation key and a shortcut to photo gallery.
Though Nokia N95 has been an overhyped phone of its era its has few erring points that can be traced like the battery backup is poor as compared to other models, too much of functionality having been clogged together  into a single  unit has made the unit somewhat slow ,moreover hampered its performance at times. The sliding mechanism provided here is regarded fairly insecure which flaps in and out very easily. Though a few nagging points can criticized this smart 3G phone has performed well in market.

These Android phones would definitely amuse the young lot in India. Nokia N76 has a wonderfully slim looking elite Nokia N-series phone attracts a large crowd. Nokia N76 is a highly music centric phone which features a smart music player, 3.5mm headset jack to go along with the FM radio facility.Its sound quality is best amoung its siblings.It is powered by symbian based operating system, version 9.2 which supports 3rd edition user interface .

Though Nokia N76 supports wide band CDMA, UMTS protocol and GSM, N76 does not support 3G services which goes down as a demerit.To go along with its slim sleek design Nokia N76 has 2megapixel camera which has diode flash to facilitate easy dark ambient photography. The camera controls provides a lot of self editing and self customizing options.

Nokia N76 is 4.1 inchesx 2inchesx0.5 inches in height, weight and thickness respectively. It weighs 4 ounces and these dimensions make the phone an easy fit into pant pockets. It is usually marketed having a red body, however it is at times black.Nokia N76′s looks are further accentuated by its two wonderful displays. The external screen is 1.3inches in size, has a resolution of 160×128-pixels ,moreover images produced is a good mix of round about 262,000 colors.This N76 display does have indicators for signal strength, battery life, time, caller ID and acts as a view finder for the camera.Furthermore this screen showcases a mirrored look when in inactive state which gives a sparkling silvery look to the phone. Menu and multimedia shortcut key, edit and clear button, navigation toggle, call talk and end options, OK button also accompany the alphanumeric keypad.

The phone memory is small with 26MB ,which can be extended by microSD expansion slot provided on the left hand side body up to 2GB.Nokia N76 also has the power connector, camera activation key ,volume controller and video mode switch. The top end of the phone bears the power button, headphone jack and mini USB port. Accessories provided in the phone are an USB cable, AC adapter, wired stereo headset, user guide and a 256MB microSD card.

Overall the phone is responsive and not sluggish while switching options. The call reception quality is good. It provides a battery backup of 2.75 hours talk time and 8.5 days battery standby time. However the Nokia N76 does have some demerits for instance it does not have Wi-Fi or HSDPA , has poor camera image quality and its Bluetooth does not support A2DP profile. The phone bears a lot of finger prints on its metallic finish, however its sleek look and good multimedia facilities goes down as strong merits.

Google India has said it is definitely interested in a market which is  14 times bigger than the PC market whose penetration is just 30 million.Google foresees a larger a populace of Indians using internet over their phones rather than their PCs in future.Hence Google search engine is aiming at easing its mobile searching capabilities a notch ahead with such a move.

The voice based search has already been incorporated for the new Blackberry users and would soon seen in many other phones from next year onwards.

To make the search more optimized and interesting the search results will be location specific.
