Just continuing with the story we had unveiled last week, the Microsoft gala continues with its BING launch. Microsoft’s BING, Microsoft’s very own search engine being quoted as the decision engine has taken over the number two in the reckoning. It took BING just within a week to take over YAHOO search engine worldwide, which has launched out with all guns blazing.
A Traffic analysis has come out with the report that BING has grabbed some 17% odd off the whole traffic as compared to 10% of YAHOO search and Google still being the bellwether amongst the search engines with some 72%traffic.Microsoft’s BING though in its unprecedented fashion is certainly attacking rival GOOGLE’s terrains. It is still early days for BING but still it has resisted the initial inertia well enough to suggest a promising future. Microsoft had targeted to reap results off BING in the coming 5 years; however they are brimming with the success they have seen in the former week. Microsoft had previously tried to acquire YAHOO at a cost of some $40billions but was put down by YAHOO. Now the story may be a little different and may well be written by MICROSOFT.
Earlier this month Microsoft launched its decision engine BING well before two days before its due date of 3rd JUNE.

Google in its plan to expand its bubble furthermore is planning to add one more feature to its download engine worldwide, The Free Music Download Search Tool. Google had added this service specific to Chinese crowd one year down. Google had launched this service in China to compete with Baidu, the famous local search engine in china. However unlike Baidu, which also provides link to unlicensed download sites along with licensed ones for all kinds of songs, Google prefers the latter. With the Google effect, Google has elevated the number of licensed songs by a substantial amount running into few millions.

Google uses an advertising revenue model, which it shares amongst local partners and music companies. Google says that they would further refine the process and may or may not go the same revenue model when they cater to the world forum. Let‘s wait and see how Google would pose this new feature Free Music Download Search in the coming days to come. We hope it would a big success again as achieved by Google in its previous ventures.

Looking for an exciting world of powerful features and immaculate versatility as found in the original version, the LV100 series, Sony’s new Vaio LV250B offers you just that. The features include even better specifications, updated CPU configuration and the cost advantage as compared to the LV 180J we reviewed in September. Along with extra features of never before home-entertainment capabilities and the original formula making it a must have for every technology savvy individual. Obviously you do pay a premium for such varied and powerful features but no other make can provide you such a complete all-in-one package with full home entertainment.
Even though the basic design of Vaio LV250B is like any other all-in-one but if you take a deeper look you will find a number of variations that make it stand tall among its competitors. It’s the only all-in-one with HDMI input. The VESA-compatible wall mount, a button dedicated for switching display between computer and HDMI device and the perfect transition with absolutely no glitch in picture quality make it easy to connect to HD video Cameras and game consoles making it the most recommended for Home entertainment duty.
The Vaio LV250B makes up for its deficiencies compared to other all-in-ones by working similar to HDMI-equipped video monitor. Though in comparison HP’s TouchSmart which has a larger 25.5-inch display (the series Hallmark Touch-Screen capability) offers almost similar configuration at comparable rates along with the contemporary Blue-ray drive. The TouchSmart’s larger than life screen and to top it the touch based input presents a case in favor of choosing HP over Sony and that is where we would like to put our money in.
In mobile chips processing it comes next to Dell’s Core 2 Quad-based XPS One 24 but beats most of competitors by opting for a desktop CPU with faster mobile chips. However Apple holds on to the crown in multitasking functionalities. As far as core processing speed is concerned Sony is well served by its efficient and fast dual-core chips making it ideal for media consumption.
You get a lot of ports and inputs in this Vaio just like the older ones. There is an array of USB 2.0 and Fire Wire 400 ports and the Sony also includes TV tuner inputs in both digital and analog formats. Among other features are the standard all-in-one lineup of wi-fi network (802.11n), built in Bluetooth for wireless mouse and keyboard and webcam. The serviceable boxy mouse and the Apple inspired keyboard give it a sleek look.
Use it just like your very own television with the user friendly touches in form of remote control and dedicated button for power display and volume control. Moreover you can accept digital images and other data with a pair of media card slots on the sides of the system.
Maintaining and protecting your software is made very easy with the Vaio Control center and Data recovery tool, along with many other programs provided by Sony Vaio
