So time to get into the specifications of this Ultra portable Laptop PC. It is available in two categories like one powered with Intel core 2 Duo ULV Processor U7600 (1.2 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache) and the other one also with Intel core 2 Duo ULV Processor U7500 (1.06 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache). So the basic difference is the small computing power difference. But nevertheless this small computing power matters when it comes to do some tough job on hand.It is loaded with Mobile Intel GM965 chip set to give the best service to the consumers.

Hp

And  thats the way it appears in real life.It comes with 1GB and 2GB RAM models operating at a maximum of 533 MHz and 667MHz memory. The hard drives comes with either 60 or 80 GB operating at 4200 rpm SMART PATA.It also has the DVD +/- RW SuperMulti with double layer. It sports a 12.1-inch WXGA Widescreen with WXGA anti-glare capability and a Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, with up to 384 MB shared system memory to give the user the best in resolution aspect.

Its weight is around 1.44Kg.And it will be available in Indian market in three color choices , cool blue, rich black and hot pink.
Pros

  • As it is Ultra Portable, you can carry it to any where. It is very light inn weight and small in size.
  • Yes it feels like a Classmate PC but at a much cheaper price.
  • Mileap X would be the value for money. Asus Eee would cost Rs 18,000. upwards and ACi would be available at Rs 15,000/-.I know all the three can not be compared to each other but overlooking the storage device of all three Mileap would be the value for money.
  • It has the advantage that it is made for India. It is built to be tough and durable in order to meet the mobility demands in extreme Indian conditions.
  • You can boot it using an external USB drive,so Windows can be used on it.

Cons

  • It does not look so nice like the Asus Eee does. But this is the price you have to pay.
  • The storage is very small and here the ACi ultra-mini gets the upper hand. The ACi has 40 GB hard disk, but the Mileap X has around 2 GB Solid State Storage Drive. But don’t confuse this with the ordinary “pen drive” you got, which has a limited read write cycle.

With an external drive and USB you can get over some of its disadvantages.

So if you want a Ultra portable laptop which you can use for normal application and Internet usage, then go for Mileap X. It has got strong reasons to be in your carry bag. At Rs 13,750, Mileap X is the value for money.
